A 4×4 picks you up from your hotel around 15h and drives you to the desert. In about an hour, you’ll be on the road. It costs extra to go on a 20-minute quad tour. You should know that the 4×4 car is only for 5 people, so if you’re in a couple, you’ll have to join another group.
In the desert, around 16:30, you start your journey. So that the car doesn’t sink into the ground, they deflate part of one of its tyres. Then they put some music on and turn the volume way up, and they start going up, down and even sideways in the desert. People are excited, but they haven’t been in danger.
After about 40 minutes of cool desert riding, it’s time to stop for a few shots. At this point, the guide will also give you a sandboard so that you can go down the dune.
